Fantastic drill for OSR but also grains, beans etc. We have drilled all our OSR directly in stubble with this the last to seasons and we have some amazing OSR. (can send pictures if wanted.)

The concept is based on integrated StripDrill tines that loosen the soil down to 30 cm depth and simultaneously place fertiliser at two dif- ferent depths, after which the crop is drilled. The system can be used equally flexibly as with ordinary Spirit and can either direct drill or be used in min-till and conventional plough-based tillage. In contrast to conventional strip-till, where seed is drilled into a previously created 5–10 cm wide cultivated strip at a row spacing of 45–90 cm, Spirit 400–600C StripDrill is de- signed for drilling with a narrower row spac-

ing. The tines loosen either between two rows (16.7 cm row spacing) or directly within one row (33.4 cm row spacing).

The Strip-till system always leaves the soil be- tween the rows untilled, with harvest trash re- maining on the soil surface. This solution also works with Spirit 400C StripDrill at 33.4 cm row spacing, where the crop is direct drilled in the row that the fertiliser tines have loosened. When drilling at 16.7 cm row spacing, however, the soil should be tilled to break capillarity and also to create fine soil in which to drill, since in that case the seed is placed to the side of the loosened band of soil left by the fertiliser tines. The tines are only 25 mm wide, which prevents them from mixing the soil and creating clods, while also low- ering the traction requirement. The flat face ensures that the soil to the sides is not compacted but cracked apart, allowing good oxygen transport and good root development. The flat narrow face in combination with the straight shape of the tine creates fine moist soil that is perfect for plant development. The hard metal coat- ing on the face ensures that the flat shape is maintained throughout the entire life of the tine.

Gødningsudstyr

Vi har brugt den til rapssåning hvilket den er fantastisk til. Vi kører altid direkte i stubben efter korn. Den kan lægge gødning ned bag hver gruppetand. Gruppetanden er 2,5 cm bred, vender lidt bagud og hiver derved minimalt sten op, kan gå 30 cm i dybden. Korn sås på alle rækker men ved raps blændes hver 2. sprække af, så række afstanden går fra 16,7 til 33,4 cm, trækket drejes og tænderne forskydes til siden så hver gruppetand bliver efterfulgt af så-rillen.
